Over the weekend...

I spent most of my time relaxing. As I do for most of my weekends... and for most of my weekdays too, coming to think of it. =)

Hell, I have a good life.

Anyway, I realised the way I blog on here is not so much in terms of daily-entry style, but more of spectacular-event-World War III. As in, it doesn't occur that often.

So I'm going to try and see if I can update more on here. Which is potentially dangerous, cuz that will lead to my blog posts having super random thoughts flying in all directions, and even the occasional bitchy remark which will be quite undiplomatic. Hai. Nonetheless, I'll give it a shot.

So my last post was on Thursday. What happened since then? Hmmm... I was supposed to go to the gym with Harvey and Darth, but they ended up cancelling cuz both of them woke up late. Figures... think it runs in the family, this difficulty in waking up on time. (Erm - referring to Darth, of course.)

So the everlasting quest for a body worthy of Sports Illustrated is delayed yet again. And this is totally valid k! Cuz Harvey is the only NUSS member, so we need his Eliteness to escort our sibling asses into the gym. Sigh.

Oi, dun even bash me with excuses of how I can use the neighbourhood gym k - that will involve walking. And it's ALWAYS too hot to do that. I can't abide blazing heat. Ask Steph. Cuz that was the reason I didn't go down to town to meet her on Saturday. ('parently there's something wrong with this... tho' it's perfectly valid - to me, at least. :P) And the luverly girl didn't even squeak-yell at me for it.

On the contrary, she actually travelled down to Yishun to join me in my airconditioned abode, bless her soul. :) And after the talks, I managed to feed her with the first two episodes of the hallowed Sex & the City TV series... after which she was hooked. (But of course - the show rocks. =) )

So much so, that she came down to Yishun again the very next day to watch more. Heh. :) Power yea. I know!

But the priceless moments during both evenings were watching my brother and his friends fall all over themselves to behave properly in front of Steph. :P It's highly entertaining (I'm already mincing my words here ;)) to watch men close to their 30's blush immediately after uttering four-letter words.

And on a last note, I'm proud to say that I no longer hold the oddball trophy for the tear-shedding sessions after watching the kiss_woman_1stmv MTV! :) Heh - granted that I still wept after watching it for the frigging FIFTH time (it's bloody sad k - you peeps have to watch it to unnerstand), at least I wept only when the sad scenes came up! Yah... we played it for Steph. And the guys were damn annoying, started covering me with tissue boxes, despite my objections that I wouldn't cry over it anymore. :P But Steph hor - wah liao, her tears welled up at the *beginning* of the MTV. When the girl and the guy first MET. Can you imagine her state by the time the MTV ended?

And I din cry one single tear! (the confounded pride prolly helped a bit here ;) ).

All in all - I had a good weekend. =)
