Celebrations

A long weekend is coming up, and the celebration is already apparent within the city limits - with the streets and shops filling up with people. Of course, the various discounts happening all over does seem to help the mood somewhat. :)

Over in this small neighbourhood in Parkville, spirits do seem to be high, as nails are painted in multi-coloured form, new tops are bought, sitting arrangements are laid out, dessert flavours are earnestly contemplated...

We're celebrating Adeline's birthday tonight - and, if she is to have her way, next weekend as well. ;)

This will be the first time I'm going to a club with this group, save for a select few (two only, actually ;) ). The main point to note is that there are considerably more females in this group - which does make this a novel, if somewhat scary, experience for me (Mind you, I'm just talking bout the preparations alone - the time required for them simply boggles me).

Nonetheless, I'm sure we'll have a good time tonight. :)

....

And to make up for the lack of writing tonight, here's a little education for everyone. I guess you might say I've been a little more conscious of this social problem lately.

And, what with Myer and the rest of the city having their respective stocktake sales, I'll be looking to buy a handful of ties - just as a helpful friend. ;)
